Available from Tuesday 13 July until Monday 19 July 2010, the Tented Village has very limited numbers of places for accommodation - so please book now, because when visiting the Open Golf Championship finding somewhere to stay is increasingly difficult as time goes on!

Each morning during your holiday you will be able to follow the walkway (marked in yellow, below) and cross over to the golf course within just a few minutes. The home of the Open Golf Championship in 2010 will be quite literally on your doorstep!
Stay for a minimum of 3 nights in a high quality pre-erected tent, or by arrangement you may be able to pitch your own tent (or stay in a caravan or motorhome) on the Strathtyrum House 'campsite'. Facilities on the site will include hot showers, flush toilets, a fully licenced bar and catering.
A deposit payment of £50 secures your accommodation (full payment required 8 weeks before the start of the 2010 Open Golf Championship in St Andrews). Children under 5 years free of charge, children between the ages of 5 and 13 half price (14 years and over charged as adults). Site fees are less than £20 pounds per adult per night, plus the cost of your pitch (if using your own caravan or motorhome) or the hire of your tent (no extra cost if you take your own text). There are a number of different styles of tent available, from £51 per tent per night including VAT.
Typical price calculation based on a group of 4 adults sharing a hired tent for 3 nights would be:
£60 per person site fees, plus £38 per person tent hire (style 7), total for three nights less than £100 each.
